Hummus Pita Sandwich

This healthful sandwich is easy to prepare and makes a great take-to-work lunch.

  • 4 (7-inch) pita breads
  • 2 (9oz) cans of Hungry Sultan Hummus Dip
  • 8 green leaf lettuce leaves
  • 2 large tomatoes, thinly sliced
  • 1 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup alfalfa sprouts

Cut each pita bread in half to form two pockets. Spread hummus equally into the cavity of each pita pocket. Line each pocket with a lettuce leaf; fill with remaining ingredients, dividing equally.
